
David Lane, Ph.D., is the founder of the Counseling Program and Ph.D. program at Mercer University in Atlanta. He has over forty years of experience as a counselor, counselor educator, and supervisor. David is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a Nationally Board Certified Counselor, a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor, and a Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapists. He has published numerous articles, book chapters, books, and manuscript reviews in the field of Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy. In 2018, he was honored by the LPCA with the Linda Painter Service award, and the John C. Burns Lifetime Achievement Award in Counseling.
